A little golf on his birthday.

Happy Birthday Cameron!

Today is Cameron's sixth birthday. Cameron and his cousins Brendan and Jimmy all have birthday's close together so we celebrated them all last night. It was a fun little party. Cameron loved all of his presents and is SpongeBob cake Aunt Aliesha and Uncle Dave got him. Too bad he had to have a head cold and a shiner on his birthday. I can't wait until he gets home from school today for some more birthday fun on the Brentel side of the family.

First Day of First Grade

Yesterday was Cameron's first day of first grade. He was gone all day. He did great! I however camped out by his door 20 minutes before he was out of school. It seemed like he was there forever. He loved his teacher, he loved school lunch, but he especially loved that he got three recesses. Aaron asked him who he sat with at lunch and he said that he made a new friend when he wasn't even looking so they sat together and played at recess. The way he explains things to us cracks us up. He is a little man all grown up. He was not even sad when I left him there and was excited to go back again today. I was the only one with the tears...must be hormones. I am so proud of how independent, mature, and outgoing he is. Good job Cameron!

Getting Ready For School

Before Cameron started school we had a fun shopping date together. He picked out a bunch of new clothes and then we went to lunch at Applebees. After lunch more shopping at Old Navy (his favorite) where he got to sit and color some pictures when he got bored and picked out a new football for his birthday. I had so much fun hanging out with my little man.

I met my friend Andrea (Andrea K Photography) to do Livia's two year old pictures last week. My little Livia did not want a thing to do with having her picture taken. She was teething and two. I didn't think we even got one picture but Andrea was so patient and did her magic. She was able to get some really cute ones. Thank you Andrea, I love them. Can't wait to do the family pics next.
